What is the difference between Early learning and Preschool programs?
We follow the Montessori approach for all our programs, which fosters independence, self-direction, and a
love for learning. Our classrooms are carefully designed with age appropriate Montessori materials and our
experienced Montessori-trained teachers provide a prepared environment that encourages exploration, discovery,
and self-paced learning. Main difference between programs is curriculum and number of classes.
What is the age range of the children you accept?
Cuddle Avenue Academy accepts children aged 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
For Early Learning program age requirements are: 6 weeks to 2 years
For Pre-school Program age requirements are: 2 years to 5 years

At Cuddle Avenue Academy, we follow the Montessori approach, which fosters independence, self-direction, and a love for learning. Our classrooms are carefully designed with Montessori materials and our experienced Montessori-trained teachers provide a prepared environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and self-paced learning.
Our curriculum focuses on fostering the development of the whole child - including their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth. Children engage in a variety of hands-on activities that promote concentration, problem-solving skills, and self-motivation. Our Montessori environment allows children to follow their own interests and develop a deep sense of intrinsic motivation to learn and explore the world around them.
What food / meals do you provide?
We Provide organic homemade Breakfast, Lunch and afternoon snack. We also provide dietary accommodations and take all allergies into serious consideration. Menu for vegan, vegetarian, and other lifestyles will be considered upon request.
Please note that families will need to provide their own formula / bottles for their infant but our educators will gladly prepare formula and bottles for you.
Do you accept part-time care?
Yes. Part-time child care is available when we have the capacity in the program. Please speak to our representative to see if we can accommodate your part-time care needs.
How do I enroll my child(ren)?
After your visit at Cuddles Avenue Academy our representative will send follow-up email with the access to enrolment page. You will be able to fill out forms and upload all necessary documentation.
Will you help my child with toilet learning?
Each child is unique and develops at their own pace. We will work in partnership with families to support children through the toilet learning process.
What are the opening times?

Do you need a face mask to play?
At this time, we no longer require face masks to come in to play. Face masks are all optional. Our staff is
fully vaccinated and we are still disinfecting the space and following any cleaning procedures during COVID.
Is there food offered at Cuddle Avenue Playroom or a space to eat?
You are welcome to bring in your own food during open play. Food and drinks must be consumed in our lounge
area only. We currently don’t serve any food at Cuddle Avenue Playroom.
When can I have a private event at Cuddle Avenue Playroom?
Please visit our birthday party page or contact us. Our friendly staff will guide you through the Booking
process and provide any additional information that may be needed. We look forward to celebrating your child’s
special day at Cuddle Avenue Academy!
What is the age range of kids to bring to Cuddle Avenue Playroom?
Kids 5 years old and under are allowed in the space. Due to the specific design of the play space exhibits,
we can only allow children 5 and under in the play space. We reserve the right to refuse entrance to any child
who does not meet that criterion.
Is there a place to put my personal belongings?
We have areas to put shoes, jackets and strollers, but your personal belongings are your responsibility.
Can I leave and come back on the same day with my pass?
No, if you have purchased 90 minute Single Pass sessions that were booked in advance. Once you enter into
the playspace, you may not leave and come back. Yes, if you have purchased 1 month unlimited Membership.
Is there parking available?
We do not have a parking lot. However, there is street parking in front of our playspace.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa/Mastercard, American Express, Discover. No personal checks or cash are accepted.
Are you a nut-free facility?
We cannot guarantee that we’re a nut-free space, however, we do not allow any nuts or any nut products to
be brought in or eaten at our facility.
What is your sick child policy?
Please be considerate and do not bring any child(ren) into Cuddle Avenue Playroom when they are ill or
have a communicable medical condition (e.g. COVID-19, lice, coxsackie, strep throat, measles, whooping
cough, etc.). If they have had a fever within the last 24 hours before your planned visit, please do not
bring them into the playspace. We reserve the right to restrict admission and/or send the child home, when,
in our opinion, that child is ill or risks the health or well being of other children.
Can I bring older children here?
No, for the safety of the smaller children and for liability reasons, only children 5 and under and
adults 18 and over are allowed in the space beyond the front entrance during open play/regular admission.
What classes do you have?
Our classes include: Private Picasso Art Class, Yoga class, Spanish & Art, Bilingual Birdies French class. Each class is 45 minutes long.
For what age groups are your classes for?
Saturday classes are good for ages 18 months old up to 5 years old. Children as young as 6+ months are invited to join our music class. Smaller children will enjoy watching the bigger kids have fun. Adult participation is required for all classes.

Can I make up for a missed class?
Yes,but rescheduling is subject to availability. An advanced notice of 24-hour sent by email is required for rescheduling
Should I make a booking before arriving for class?
Yes, booking is mandatory. We aim to guarantee the best experience possible, therefore we limit kids number up to 15 children per class.
What is the Child-teacher ratio for classes?
We aim to guarantee the best experience possible, therefore we limit the number of kids up to 15 children per class. Classes are led by a teacher with a help of an assistant.
Is cuddle avenue a school?
Cuddle Avenue offers a wide variety of services like Early Learning Program, Preschool and Playroom. Classes offered at Playroom do not follow curriculum, so you're free to book a single session or multiple classes. Playroom Classes are best for children's entertainment and creating basic knowledge.
What is your Refund policy?
There are NO REFUNDS for any classes. Rescheduling is subject to availability. An advanced notice of 24-hour sent by email is required for rescheduling.

Do you need to wear socks to play?
Yes, all adults and children must wear non-slip socks in the play space for your safety and for hygienic purposes. We do have socks for purchase (children and adult size) just in case you forget!
Can I visit Cuddle Avenue Playroom just for the day?
Yes, please make a reservation on our site. It's $25 for each child, adult access is free. For siblings we offer a discount -10%.
Do you have to sign a waiver?
For insurance purposes, every parent/guardian that enters Cuddle avenue facilities must sign a waiver for any child under the age of 18 that are under their care. Cuddle Avenue has the right to refuse entry if the guardian does not sign a waiver. Birthday Party hosts are responsible to have their guests sign the waivers as well.
How many adults per booking is allowed?
We require every child to come in with at least 1 adult. You can have 3 kids per 1 adult.
Does a parent/guardian need to be with my child at all times?
Yes, parents and caregivers must watch their child(ren) at all times. We are not a drop-off play space or day care and all adults are responsible for the well-being and behavior of the child(ren) they are responsible for.
